Rhett in the hiz-ouse!

I looked in Annie's playhouse and she had him sitting in her Barbie chair. He really didn't seem overly concerned with the situation. I'm glad he's able to play with her a little more now. We kept promising her that he would become more fun, and we didn't need to throw him in the trash or give him to the orphanage after all!

1,2,3...Ding, Ding, Ding!

Well, it looks like we have our own little AC Slater. Come on, you know what I'm talking about! Ha, ha! Rhett really does like to wrestle around on his sis. She doesn't mind--it doesn't even stop her from reapplying her lip gloss!

Go Fly a Kite!!

Spring is here and Annie has had this kite in the closet since last year. We finally got a day where the sun was out and wind was not blowing 50 MPH. I don't know if it was all she thought it was going to be, but she had fun running around. Rhett also had fun sitting on the towel and playing with the golf ball.

And he crawls...

Never thought the day would come. Now if we can just get him to not be so attached to his mom, we will really have something to write about.

Big Helper

I was doing some spring cleaning in the flower beds and Annie wanted to help me plant some more shrubs. She was such a big help that I got her to help me plant a couple of willow trees.
She and Elizabeth have wanted one for a long time, so we got TWO. Annie named them "whisper" and "willow".

Sunday Morning

It has been a while since our last post, so we are going to catch up tonight.
Sunday mornings are always fun around our house. It seems no matter how early we wake up, we are still late for church!!

Happy Little Boy

It is hard to believe that March is already here and Rhett is 7 1/2 months old. This is a rare moment, him playing in the floor by himself and happy.
We woke up with a light snow covering everything. Apparently we were just on the edge of a big snow storm. The news said just east of here and into Tennessee saw 6-12 inches of snow. Thank goodness we are not having to deal with that. We are just getting over the recent ice storm and Elizabeth does not want to teach school any later into the summer than she already has too. I for one am ready for spring. Watching golf on TV and not being able to get out and play is killing me. I hope Rhett will want to play golf. Last summer Annie would go with me the course , but she was more interested in playing with the rakes in the sand traps. At least she is practicing proper etiquette, and it was still fun to have her out there with me.
